What to have ready

Tell us your registration, postcode and how many working keys you have. Let us know if the car uses a push-button start and whether your existing key starts the vehicle reliably.

Please have the vehicle and all available working keys present at the appointment. We may ask for photographic ID and proof that you own or are authorised to use the vehicle.

What does a spare key cost?

Spare remote keys typically cost £120–£180. Smart or proximity spares typically cost £180–£280. The exact price depends on the make, model, year and key type.

Only key already lost?

A spare-key appointment assumes a working key is available. If every key is missing, tell us when you enquire so we can quote the correct all-keys-lost service.
